Gigantic Brewing Ume Umai & Solid Launch, 5 p.m., The Red Hot
Gigantic Brewing co-owner Ben Love will be in the house as Ume Umai (black rice and plum beer) and Solid (American hoppy wheat beer) are launched.

Hot Winter Night, 6 p.m., The Swiss Restaurant and Pub
Christmas is coming early this year. The Swiss will pour two different batches of Snowcap from Pyramid Breweries plus other dark ales from Sierra Nevada Brewing Company, Full Sail Brewing Company and Ninkasi Brewing.

All Tacoma IPA Invitational Championship, 6 p.m., Parkway Tavern
The Parkway has invited all Tacoma breweries to bring their IPAs for a blind taste test. The taps will be numbered and patrons are encouraged to vote for their favorites. A trophy will be awarded at the end of the night, which will be displayed in the winner’s taproom until next year’s event.
