Pacific Brewing & Malting Co. won the Parkway Tavern’s 2016 Tacoma Brewers Blind IPA Challenge last night during Tacoma Beer Week.

The Northwest Cider Association hosts its sixth annual Summer Cider Day Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Northwest Maritime Center in Port Townsend. With more than 60 ciders to try, music, and gourmet gluten-free fare from Sirens Pub, this family friendly event showcases some of the top cideries from Washington and Oregon.

The first-ever Spokane Brewers Festival will be held Aug. 12-13 at the Veterans Memorial Arena in downtown Spokane. More than 30 breweries will pour, all from Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho. At least 15 of the breweries are from Spokane.

Portland Brewing and the Oregon Brew Crew have teamed up to celebrate the Rose City’s warmest months with the launch of a brand new collaboration brew — Sander’s Wit.
