Check out their delightful tales of Dr. Seuss featuring The Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant, The Grinch, Gertrude McFuzz and other unforgettable characters.

4:15 P.M. THE MAN WHO INVENTED CHRISTMAS: Charles Dickens’ classic A Christmas Carol gets the sort of origin story normally reserved for superheroes in The Man Who Invented Christmas. Bharat Nalluri’s whimsical comedy/drama wants to have its Christmas cake and eat it, too, by attempting to be both a (highly fictionalized) biographical portrait of Dickens and, simultaneously, a creative spin on the oft-dramatized tale. 5:30 P.M. FANTASY LIGHTS: The moths are on to something. Lights are awesome. Especially holiday lights. Make tonight the night you check out Fantasy Lights — a South Sound institutions. Take a driving tour of Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park, where carloads of travelers can see more than 300 stunning displays of lights and imaginative animation over a two-mile stretch of Spanaway Lake Park from 5:30-9 p.m. Tune in to a special holiday radio station for a little holiday music to add to the mood. Christmas Eve would be a nice time to take the family out and see some bright shiny things.
