12TH ANNIVERSARY IMPERIAL IPA, Port Brewing: Every year, Port Brewing crafts a special IPA to mark their anniversary. To mark 12 years, the brewery has brewed a beast of a double IPA packed with a variety of oily hops for flavors of caramel malt, citrus and piney hops, orange, lemon, light grapefruit, mixed stone and tropical fruit and pine needles. It finishes with lingering lightly resinous pine, citrus hops and mixed fruit. 10.5%, 22oz
CHEFS CHOICE NO.2 KOLSCH, Three Magnets Brewing: Three Magnets head brewer Jeff Stokes and the brewery’s chef, Frank Magana, had their own brewer’s dinner resulting in a kolsch brewed with Thai basil, ginger and coconut water. 5.6%, 16oz
CITRUSINENSIS PALE, Lagunitas Brewing: The brewery took some fresh Sanguinello blood oranges, juiced them, concentrated that juice (without heat) and threw it into a wheatier version of its New DogTown Pale Ale. The end result is a refreshingly hopped pale-ish ale with a huge citrus burst. 7.9%, 12oz
GOOD HAIR DAY, Reuben’s Brews: For Rudy’s Barbershop’s 25th anniversary, they’ve collaborated with Reuben’s Brews to create Good Hair Day, a sessionable, hoppy pale ale with bright notes of orange and grapefruit, supported by restrained bitterness. Proceeds from each sale benefit Equal Rights Washington and their work supporting the LGBTQ community. 4.3%, 16oz
KISS THE GOAT BLACK DOPPELBOCK, Gigantic Brewing: This black doppelbock is smoky on the nose and deep brown black in color. The palate starts with dark chocolate and dark fruit flavors then finishes smooth and a bit dry with nutty character and huge roasted malt flavors that linger on the palate after each sip. 8%, 16.9oz
PERPETUATION, Urban Family Brewing: This is a sour ale with boysenberries, blueberries and raspberries. Like it’s predecessor, it has a focus on a massive fruit character, with a dry finish, and balanced acidity. 5.9%, 500ml
TRUMAN’S GODDAMN BARREL AGED STRONG ALE, Loowit Brewing: Named in honor of old Harry Truman of Spirit Lake Lodge who refused to leave his home and stood in defiance of Mount St. Helens that ultimately took his life, this strong ale refused to leave Woodford Reserve Double Oak bourbon barrels for 11 months resulting in flavors of sweet malt, raisin and booze. 10%, 22oz
