Every holiday season Peaks & Pints promises to act less like Lady Macbeth and more like Ebbey Scrooge … after the graveyard scene, of course — you know, dancing around in a nightshirt making merry, in keeping with the situation. Sierra Nevada Brewing will help us achieve this holiday goal with their weeklong Fresh and Dank IPA Party for Toys at our craft beer bar, bottle shop and restaurant in Tacoma’s Proctor District. We’ll pour discounted pints of the Chico, California brewery’s Celebration and Dankful IPAs and host a Toys For Tots Pierce County raffle drive Nov. 15-21 with a grand prize raffle party on the last day.
Sierra Nevada brews Dankful IPA not only to make everyone thankful for a resinous kick with notes of pine and tropical fruit, but also, they brew this hop-forward West Coast IPA to support nonprofits such as Toys For Tots. Since 1981, Celebration IPA has been famous for its bold citrus and pine aroma.
Stop by Peaks & Pints Monday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 21, donate a toy for a raffle ticket, enjoy a delicious Sierra Nevada pint, then join us at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 21 for the grand prize raffle party to win a Sierra Nevada longboard, backpack, and other prizes.
This Toys For Tots campaign makes Peaks & Pints as light as a feather. We’re as happy as an angel. We’re as merry as a schoolboy. We’re as giddy as a drunken man. A merry Dankful to everybody! Let’s get our Celebration on!
