Peaks and Pints Pay For Snow Party 2024
Peaks & Pints will throw a Pray For Snow Party Wednesday, Nov. 2o at our craft beer and cider lodge at Basecamp Proctor in Tacoma. We need to pray for snow!
A slowly-developing La Nina is favored to influence conditions for the upcoming winter across most of the country, according to NOAA’s U.S. Winter Outlook released by the Climate Prediction Center — a division of NOAA’s National Weather Service. This outlook is for December 2024 through February 2025 and contains information on likely conditions throughout the country for temperature, precipitation and drought. This winter, NOAA predicts colder- and wetter-than-average conditions for the entire northern tier of the continental U.S., particularly in the Pacific Northwest, which translates to good snow conditions for ski resorts across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
Still, we know the weather is hard to predict in Washington, so we still need to pray for snow!
Let’s all think about snow, snow sports, and drink beer together. Peaks & Pints invites you to group hug over this serious situation, enjoy another Pray For Snow Party with Old Stove Brewing’s Warming Hut Winter IPA Old Stove Brewing, which we helped brew, enjoy a plethora of winter beers and ciders on tap, and win some sway, including swag from Oneball and lift tickets to Crystal Mountain Ski Resort.
Proceeds from the event will go the Crystal Mountain Ski Patrol.
Will praying for snow work? Does it ever work in Washington? That’s not really the point.
