Sierra Nevada Pop Quiz Night at Peaks and Pints

When R.J. Adler’s Pop Quiz Night began way back in 2000, he had only one question he would ask customers outside certain 7-Eleven stores: “Who let the dogs out?” Whatever the customers said, Adler would always loudly reply, “Wrong! “It’s my brother. That’s why he’s in Attica! Attica! Attica!”

Twenty-five years later, Adler’s back at it with a new, more mature Pop Quiz Night — this time at Peaks & Pints in Tacoma’s Proctor District. Thursday, Jan. 30, Adler — who is a sales executive with Sierra Nevada Brewing — will unleash his pop-culture-laced, science-driven exam as a live, interactive experience with contestants, aka as Peaks customers, answering tough questions displayed on Peaks’ giant screen for nifty prizes. Sierra Nevada beers, including a few special kegs, will flow from the craft beer lodge’s Western red cedar tap log, with plenty of Sierra non-alcoholic Trail Pass beer cans in the cooler.

“I’m not sure if my brother will join us as he’s still angry about the whole dog thing, but everyone is welcome to play the game,” adds Adler. “It’s going to be a hoot.”
