Event Information

Two things happen every year at the Olympia Brew Fest: dancing and hula-hooping. Saturday, both were front and center again at the Port Plaza in downtown Olympia when the fifth annual Olympia Brew Fest hosted 30-plus craft breweries and cideries, as well as large, fun crowd.

The event featured numerous South Sound brewers, including Pacific Brewing & Malting Co., Top Rung Brewing Co., Fish Brewing Company, Three Magnets Brewing Co., Narrows Brewing Co., O-Town Brewing, Dick’s Brewing Co., Puyallup Brewing Co., Wet Coast Brewing Co., Cascadia Homebrew and Brewing Co., Triceratops Brewing Co., Whitewood Cider Co., as well as dozens of others from around the state and Oregon.

Hundreds of craft beer drinkers made their way to the top of the viewing tower to catch breathtaking waterfront views of the marina, as well as wacky hula-hooping, slow dancing, T-shirts flying into the crowd, beer pong, salmon barbecue, high-fives and people enjoying delicious craft beer.
