The Pike Brewing Company, 1st Avenue, Seattle, WA, United States
Date: February 12, 2017
Event Information
This was my third Pike Chocofest, and it was a teemingly busy, fantastic, wonderful, exhausting and difficult to orient chocoholic’s dream of a night. Last night, Pike Brewing Co. presented an evening of delicious bites and drinks with more than 65 of Puget sound’s cool breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, cheese makers, bakers and chocolatiers. It was a prelude to Valentine’s Day, with a ton of red and chocolate, benefiting Puget Soundkeeper, an environmental group aimed at protecting and preserving Puget Sound by stopping the discharge of toxic pollution through advocacy and vigilant monitoring.
I snapped a few photos from all floors, nooks and crannies of the brewery nestled against Seattle’s Pike Place Market. Full disclosure: I missed a ton. I missed a great many dazzling shots, chocolate-throwing things, chocolate art, and 500 more astonishing, hilarious offerings. I even missed capturing host Charles and Rose Ann Finkle together, because I was stuffing my face with chocolate stuff and it was glorious, and sort of perfect.
