Beer For Clean Air: Double Mountain
Team Peaks & Pints — Erin Miller, Justin Johnson, Andrew Foreman and Ron Swarner — will climb Mt. Rainier in late June 2020 as a fundraiser for the American Lung Association. The beersome, we mean foursome, have signed up as a team for the Lung Association’s Climb For Clean Air program — a mountaineering training and fundraising program designed to give one the training, technical support and guide services she or he needs to summit magnificent mountains safely, including Mt. Rainier. Peaks & Pints will host Beer For Clean Air: Double Mountain from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, featuring the latest beers from the Hood River brewery with proceeds going toward lung disease prevention.
The Lung Association’s Climb For Clean Air folks will lead an information session at 11 a.m. Jan. 18 in Peaks’ events room, covering all the specific of climbing and fundraising to reach Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood.
Lace up your hiking boots, grab the 10 Essentials, and make your way to Peaks and Pints for Double Mountain beers, mountain music and mountain scenery. Peaks and Pints also serves delicious sandwiches, salads, appetizers, desserts and 832 different craft beers and ciders. Cheers!
