Climb For Clean Air 2020
November 14, 2019 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Climb For Clean Air 2020
The American Lung Association’s Climb for Clean Air is an exclusive mountaineering training and fundraising program designed to give you the training, technical support and guide services you need to summit Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker and Mt. Hood, while raising money to fight for cleaner air standards and fund life-saving research. Climb For Clean Air 2020 begins Thursday, Nov. 14 at Peaks and Pints.
Peaks and Pints will host several Climb for Clean Air Info Sessions before the summer climbing season — the first one from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14 in our Events Room. American Lung Association staff will discuss mountaineering training, technical support, guide service and more. Peaks and Pints will have several mountain-themed beers on draft to get everyone stoked.
Chances are you know someone who has faced the challenges of asthma, COPD, lung cancer or air pollution. As a Climb For Clean Air participant, you’ll be helping the American Lung Association provide community based education programs, fight for cleaner air standards and fund life-saving research — as well as have an adventure of a lifetime with really fun people. Seriously, it’s freakin’ fun!
