Peaks and Pints Craftwell Cocktails Night

Thursday, July 20, the Peaks & Pints bartender will write “Cocktail Night” on our outdoor sandwich board. Yes, Peaks & Pints will pour 20.5-percent cocktails — but the plotline thickens with apple wine, which is essentially apple juice that has gone through the same process as you would making wine. Craftwell Cocktails blends apple wine with real fruit and ingredients to recreate the cocktail experience.

Craftwell Cocktails Chocolate Espresso Martini

Vodka, Baileys, crème de cacao, and espresso meet, take a ride in the hand shaker and chill over ice in a chocolate-rimmed martini glass. Enter Craftwell Cocktails. Oh, you’re going dig this. Craftwell Cocktails Chocolate Espresso Martini marries rich coffee with dark chocolate notes creating a sweet and velvety slice of mocha heaven.

The Cosmopolitan, a cocktail made famous by the sassy, serially unattached women on HBO’s Sex and the City, is a combination of vodka, Cointreau and splashes of lime and cranberry juices. There’s no doubt that the Old Fashioned cocktail stands the test of time. Despite tracing its origins all the way back to the late 1800s, the traditional cocktail is a simple one, made with bourbon or rye whiskey, a bit of sugar, a splash of water, a few dashes of Angostura bitters, garnished with an orange twist and/or Luxardo cherry.
