Peaks and Pints Cuatro de Mayo

It’s Cuatro de Mayo, meaning it’s party time Senor Garth. The very best Cuatro de Drinko parties feature a live mariachi band, dancing Chihuahuas and beer bongs made out of Saguaro cactuses. Peaks and Pints will offer one of those treasures — a live mariachi band at 4 p.m. today. Required Costume Elements: Sombreros (preferably on dogs leashed outside our Proctor District bottle shop) and ponchos. For the ladies it’s a great excuse to grow out the uni-brow in a hip nod to Frida Kahlo. But if you lack those features, all that’s really needed is our Mexican lager beer flight and remember to say a little prayer for the feisty Mexicans who lost their lives May 5, 1862 fighting an invading French army so we could get our drink on.
