Friday marks the release of our yearly interpretation of the JUICE that time forgot. For 2020’s iteration of IPA Alive, we threw tangerine and grapefruit zest in the whirlpool with El Dorado hops, fermented with our favorite juicy yeast strain, and dry hopped with Sabro and Idaho 7. We then conditioned on lemon, lime, and orange zest to finish it off. There’s a high level of nostalgic crushability. Feel Alive! ?Against the Currant – Blackcurrant Gose? Sure it might be cold outside ? but at least it’s above 0⁰ F! Celebrate the warmth ?️? with a new addition to our 16oz can family, Against the Currant. We start with a beautiful tart German Gose brewed with delicate lemon ? peel and fresh Indian coriander for a light-bodied and citrus-forward sour. ?% fresh black currant puree is then added to impart tart black fruit notes, yielding an enhanced citrus-berry fruit complexity and stunning plum color. Oh, and guess what? Glassware is back in use in our taproom starting today!!

FRIDAY – Hold on to your yoga pants! This sweater weather has us all aflutter with #FallVibes, and we are whipping up our first-ever pumpkin spice beer. Our PSL-inspired imperial stout is saturated with plenty of coffee and vanilla, then spiced up with cinnamon, clove, ginger, and nutmeg. It’s truly too gourd to be true (but don’t worry, no pumpkins were harmed in the making of this beer). Portland folks can cop this drop on the app on Friday morning at nine am, with pickup starting at noon @greatnotionnw and @greatnotionbeaverton. Georgetown will be all stocked up early Sunday afternoon, and we will post to stories @greatnotiongeorgetown when orders open for Seattle pickup! (11.6% abv) $25/4pack

Who else is excited that fall is here? Although this fall may look a little different we’ve decided to enjoy our favorite fall activities at home! From the pseudo-pumpkin patch in our backyard to baking our favorite fall treats, decorating the whole house, and of course, dressing up! #ad . Our dogs are an integral part of our family so obviously, we can’t leave them out. However, trying to put a costume on Hank is nearly impossible but Kobe’s costume (swipe) is a teaser to what our family Halloween costumes will be this year! . Since there won’t be trick or treating this year we decided we’ll hide @earthbornholistic treats in various places, like behind the pumpkins in the yard, and let the dogs “trick or treat” on Halloween; stay tuned for the video on my stories (go look)! . I’ve posted about #EarthbornHolistic before because it completely changed our senior dog Kobe’s life. Kobe was starting to drastically slow down after being my adventure partner for 11 years and after we switched them over to Earthborn Holistic it was like I suddenly had my K9-in-crime back again! We also noticed Hank’s coat was much healthier after the switch as well. Earthborn Holistic is an easy company to back because the food is oven-baked in US Kitchens, they have never had a recall, plus they strive to be as eco as possible with recyclable packaging and programs like UPCs for trees. . What fall activities are you doing with your pets this year?
