Homebrewing buddies Wes Parker, Steve Napolitano, and Brandon Buckner decided to turn a hobby into a career. In 2013, they open Bottle Logic Brewing, a 6,000 square-foot tasting room and 15-barrel brewing facility near the 91 and 57 freeway intersection in Anaheim, California. The brewery is fashioned in a particular style that they call a “retro-future” aesthetic. Modeled after the golden age of science fiction following the post-war period, this style is marked by an unyielding optimism for the future that emerged with the end of World War II. This was the age where flying cars and atomic unicycles weren’t gags reserved for cheesy movies, but the faintest glimpse of what people truly felt the future held. Luckily, the beer is bold enough to back up the alluring design, with space-age innovation and award wins as its constant. Bottle Logic has gained notoriety for the barrel-aged pastry stouts. Bottle Logic Intrepid Orchid 2022

11.2% ABV

This bourbon barrel-aged English-style vanilla barleywine offers brown sugar cookie and toffee-toned aromas melting into layers of caramel cream and nougat on the palate. Brûléed sugar bitterness and undertones of leather, oak, and autumn leaves balance the rich layers of Madagascar vanilla with a soft breath of impeccably integrated bourbon on the exhale.

A collaboration with Orchestrated Minds Brewing, this grape brandy barrel-aged peanut butter and jelly-inspired English-style barleywine is a harmonious blend of caramel malts and grape brandy casks meet a symphony of roasted peanuts and sweet strawberry jam.

Bottle Logic Condensed Matter 2023

11.5% ABV

Bourbon barrel-aged Vietnamese coffee-inspired imperial stout is brewed with an exclusive Mostra Coffee-roasted blend of Vietnam Lotus beans, chicory, and a thematically appropriate helping of lactose make for a statistically impressive liquid. Expect bold coffee aromas followed by chocolate malt tones and nutty, bitter chicory.

15.3% ABV

The 10th vintage of the bourbon barre-aged imperial stout that started it all — Darkstar November. Expect snippets of sweet molasses and spicy rye, velvety vanilla and bourbon-soaked chocolate oak.
