Drekker Brewing’s building began its life in 1880 in the earliest days of Fargo, nine years before North Dakota would become a state. It was built by Northern Pacific as a locomotive repair building and foundry, and it’s the last standing piece of what was a large railroad facility that included a 28-car roundhouse and many other buildings. The building went through many uses and owners over the years but fell into disrepair after sitting mostly empty for several decades. Even still, its soul and character were undeniable, and it was where scientist Mark Bjornstad, builder Darin Montplaisir, businessperson Jesse Feigum, and engineer Mason Montplaisir first dreamed of starting the brewery. Through dumb luck, hard work, and amazing friends we eventually got the opportunity to resurrect this building and bring this dream to life in September 2014. Brewhalla is the home of Viking-themed Drekker Brewing and it’s become so much more than a brewery and taproom. Made up of a food market filled with Fargo’s best and most creative restaurants, shops, and makers, a bumping event center to throw killer parties, and a hotel like no other to truly immerse yourself in the full Drekker experience. Part of Drekker’s Braaaaaaaains pastry sour series, they stuffed Poolside with tons of pineapples, squeezed in a bunch of limes, then added their double secret smoothie treatment of sea salt, lactose, and vanilla.

This Chonk Sundae Sour is absolutely dripping with raspberry and white chocolate and packs that absurdly decadently sweet, tart, rich chonky flavor you’ve come to expect and love from Drekker’s favorite hefty boi. ⠀
Drekker Slang Du Jour — Raspberry Cheesecake
6.7% ABV
This sour a la mode sports ridiculously delicious cheesecake flavor from their mad scientist process and by being stuffed raspberry, granola crust, lactose, vanilla, and real cream cheese. It’s decadent, creamy, and preposterously thick.
