People freaked when Massachusetts-based @slumbrew launched this Belgian tripel with Cap’n Crunch Crunch Berries in March, and it’s easy to see why: The Saturday morning nostalgia is real. Crunch Berries pop in the aroma, lending a sugar-dusted fruitiness that floats above the base bouquet of dried banana, pear, circus peanuts and corn flakes in a bowl of almond milk. Sips are slightly more fruit-forward, with rich pear and regular old Cap’n up top; alcoholic warmth enhances the toasted almond notes at the swallow. And it doesn't even scratch the roof of your mouth.

Meet Blake, our Sales Chemist who supports our sales team with data. He's also a fan of 6 Hop IPA, "especially in a can." He added, "It's perfect for a hot day and it's easy to carry in a backpack when you're out and about." A Rogue for 3 years now, Blake hasn't always been a number guy on our sales team. He started working with Rogue as a distiller in Newport. His favorite memory as a Rogue? "Finding a litter of kittens while working at the distillery in Newport." Blake recently broke his first metacarpal (lowest bone of the thumb) and trapezium (one of the little square bones in the wrist) while out skateboarding so he's down to one-handed drinking for the time being. Thanks to @evan_bartholomew, Rogue graphic designer, he's sporting some cast artwork and he should be back in action very soon. #roguecharacterstories #meettherogues
