Peaks and Pints New Beers 4-Pack: 10.17.19
After a long session of adulting hard that entailed fighting the I-5 traffic for a quick trip to IKEA, your post-lingonberry meatball hangover cries for a healthy dose of craft beer to balance things out. Welcome to Peaks and Pints New Beers 4-Pack: 10.17.19!
Abomination Brewing
DRAWING A BLANK: Abomination‘s New England-style triple IPA is triple dry-hopped with Galaxy, Citra and Mandarina Bavaria for all the hops, citrus and floral on the nose and palate, although the booze shows up on the tongue then finishes bittersweet. 11.1%
Decadent Ales
DECADENT CREAMERY MANGO SORBET: Decadent‘s Gose-style ale loaded with fresh mango puree. So there. 5.8%
Dugges Bryggeri
SUNSHINE ORCHARD: So, we received half a case, of Dugges‘ Sunshine Orchard, but that’s not going to rain on our, er, orchard. Because of the stupid Government Shutdown in February 2019, the Swedish brewery brewed this imperial IPA stateside, dumping an orchard of flavors into this citrusy, sweet hazy. 8%
Revision Brewing
THE BRUFF: We didn’t bring in Revision‘s The Bruff double IPA on its first release. People yelled, “What The Bruff?” OK, here is your heap of citrusy Citra and mounds of mango-ish Mosaic hops smothering a base of wheat and flaked oats. You’re welcome. 8%
