Fort George Lupulin Ecstacy Festival recap
What do you get when you combine top-notch breweries, almost exclusively IPAs, giant inflatable animals, and 3-Way beer-loving drinkers under a cloudless sky in Astoria? You get the euphoria of Fort George Brewery’s Lupulin Ecstasy Festival on the grounds of the Flavel Mansion Saturday, May 21.
Fort George poured their soon-to-be-released 2022 3-Way IPA — this year a West Coast-style crisp, citrus-forward IPA.
Ravenna Brewing of Seattle and Alvarado Street Brewing of Monterey, California, poured their beers too, which wasn’t surprising since they’re the brewing partners for this year’s 3-Way.
The remaining Lupulin Ecstasy pouring breweries were past partners of previous 3-Way collaborations. There wasn’t a bad beer in the bunch.
Add several food trucks, talented bands, and a dude making giant bubbles and it was an awesome day. Cheers Fort George!
