SATURDAY, MARCH 11 2017: South Sound events + craft beer
Jazzbones + Peaks and Pints = Hell’s Belles and Voodoo
Northwest Pro Wrestling + The Copper Door = Tough Love
FOR THOSE ABOUT TO ROCK
Hell’s Belles has been around for a while now. Their all-female tribute to AC/DC is nothing new. There’s a good chance you’ve seen them, and there’s a good chance you’ve read about them before on this website. Peaks and Pints doesn’t care. It’s true, Hell’s Belles has been doing the same thing (albeit with lineup fluctuations) since 2000 and true, AC/DC’s catalog of hits hasn’t really grown or diversified since then. But who cares? Not Peaks and Pints. Peaks and Pints knows Hell’s Belles is the prefect band to drink craft beer to. And Peaks and Pints knows the sight of five smoking ladies strutting and rocking like Angus and Co. is enough to make his heart engorge with blood. … Hell’s Belles hits Jazzbones’ stage at 9 p.m. Drop by Peaks and Pints for a couple Ninkasi Brewing’s Helles Belles first.
PREFUNK: As part of New Belgium Brewing Co.’s revamping efforts this year, and there are plenty of changes, Voodoo Ranger 8 Hop Pale Ale is the lightest of the lot. Yes, the skeleton ranger on the label is all smiles over the eight mystery hops in this craft beer, but there’s plenty on the malt side to keep things balanced. Although it smells like mango, it hits the tongue with mostly pine, some citrus rind, plenty of hop bitterness on the backend. Peaks and Pints has 8 Hop pouring from our western red cedar tap log. Pair it with one of our sandwiches.
TOP TURNBUCKLE TREATMENT

Can Jeff Orcut retain his heavyweight championship in a re-match against hard-hitting Brad Landen? Find out at 7 p.m. when Northwest Pro Wrestling screams into the Key Peninsula Civic Center.
