TACOMA PREFUNK FRIDAY, AUG. 11 2017: Cans For A Cause Party and Tacoma Beer Week events
PREFUNK: Tacoma Beer Week continues, and what better way to celebrate than by helping others. With cans. It may be warm and sunny outside, but people are still starving right in our neighborhoods. For the past week, Peaks and Pints, 7 Seas Brewing, Silver City Brewery, No-Li Brewhouse, Bale Breaker Brewing Co., Fish Tale Ales and Iron Horse Brewery host Tacoma Beer Week 2017 Cans For A Cause hosted a canned food drive in support of the Tacoma Rescue Mission. At 5 p.m. Peaks and Pints hosts the Cans For A Cause Party, asking folks to bring in five cans for the Rescue Mission in exchange for a raffle ticket. All the breweries will be in the house raffling off goods, pouring cans of their craft beer goodness and toasting Tacoma Beer Week.
NOON TACOMA BEER WEEK: Edison City Alehouse hosts its second annual South Tacoma Sour Tummy featuring barrel aged sour beers from deGarde, Cascade, Crooked Stave, pFriem, E9, Urban Family, Block 15, Holy Mountain, Breakside and others.
6 P.M. TACOMA BEER WEEK: Wingman Brewers hosts Collaboration fest featuring craft beers from Wingman and Tacoma Brewing, Wingman and Dystopian Brewing, Wingman and Ram Brewing Co., Harmon and Gig Harbor Brewing Co., Narrows Brewing and Rainy Daze and Wet Coast and Top Rung.
7 P.M. TACOMA BEER WEEK: North End Social Club hosts Aslan Brewing for a Disco Party.
