MONDAY, JAN. 31 2022: The Peaks & Pints Kitchen offers a Chicken Pesto sandwich special with white balsamic, Havarti, red onion, tomato, and spinach on sourdough. As you know, pesto pairs well with saisons. Welcome to Tacoma Sandwich Special of the Day: Pesto Chicken Folkvangr.

PAIRING: Little Beast Brewing Folkvangr

Folkvangr is a barrel-fermented dark saison brewed with a Norwegian farmhouse strain of yeast, chocolate wheat, and kilned coffee malts, and Callista and Hallertau Blanc hops for a robust and round, pleasantly dry, saison that pairs well with the sandwich.

We’re open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday, but we hope to return to “before times” hours when we’re able to seat at full capacity.
