Tacoma Sandwich Special of the Day: Smokin’ With The Hula Dancers

FRIDAY, FEB. 4 2022: The Peaks & Pints Kitchen heads to the Hawaiian Islands today with their Tacoma Sandwich Special of the Day: Smokin’ With The Hula Dancers pineapple, ham, Polynesian sauce, red onions, green onions, tomato, and light mayo on French.

PAIRING: Wayfinder Beer Linear Ashes

We suggest pairing our Hawaiian sandwich special with Wayfinder’s Linear Ashes Rauchbier, a collaboration with Structures Brewing. The Beechwood smoked malt will match well with the bread and the sweetness of the pineapple will be matched by the hefty maltiness of this full-bodied, smoked lager. What really makes this pairing shine is the smoky Rauchbier flavor melding with the sweet ham. This is an over the top pairing that is all about matching rather than contrasting flavors.
