Patagonia Provisions, the sustainable food offshoot of Patagonia, the outdoor clothing company, has a beer. Created in partnership with Hopsworks Urban Brewery, or HUB, of Portland, Ore., Long Root Ale is described in a media release as “a Northwest-style pale ale” made from ingredients that include Kernza. The beer will be sold in 16-ounce cans at Whole Foods Market sites in California, Oregon and Washington. It will be on draft at select Whole Foods Market bar-restaurants, at both Hopworks locations in Portland and at the MiiR flagship store in Seattle.

The Fort George fall/winter seasonal Magnanimous IPA returns this week. Reaching homes and pubs throughout the Northwest, this seasonal beer brewed with Grand Fir trimmings.
